Since its founding in 2013, the Black Lives Matter website included an anti-family creed that had Marxist origins. The creed said, “We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and ‘villages’ that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.”
In other words, the Black Lives Matter movement aimed to dissolve the nuclear family unit in American society and to replace it with a Marxist version. Under Marxism, the family becomes subservient to the will of the state (i.e. central government) and the state has the final say in all family matters.
But, after public outcry and increased scrutiny, the website scrubbed the anti-family creed entirely and removed the page. The statement could only be seen through an internet archive.
Although the anti-family creed is gone, it was another example of how the Black Lives Matter movement’s true nature does not align with the media’s spin of peaceful protests.
